Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of AthenaLab’s products and services — Numina, Athena Dispatch, and our custom automation work (“AthenaLab”, “we”, “us”, “our”). By creating an account or using our products, you agree to these Terms.

1. The service

AthenaLab provides automation tools and services for small businesses. Numina lets you upload or photograph receipts, which are stored in your own Google Drive while an AI service extracts line-item data into a Google Sheet in your own Drive. Athena Dispatch is job-management software delivered as a web app scoped to your business. Custom automation is built directly on your own tools and accounts as agreed with you.

2. Accounts

You must sign in with a valid account to use our products. You are responsible for maintaining the security of that account and for all activity that occurs under it. You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your jurisdiction).

3. Subscriptions and billing

• Paid plans are billed through Stripe; by subscribing, you also agree to Stripe’s terms for payment processing.
• Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled before the renewal date.
• You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Fees already paid for the current period are non-refundable unless stated otherwise in writing.
• If a payment fails, we may suspend access to paid features until it is resolved.

4. Your data and content

• You retain ownership of the content you upload and the data extracted from it. As described in our Privacy Policy, Numina data is stored in your own Google Drive and Sheets, and Athena Dispatch data lives in your company’s own tenant — not in a shared AthenaLab database.
• You are responsible for the accuracy of the source material you upload. Automated extraction (OCR) may occasionally misread a receipt; review entries before relying on them for tax or accounting.
• You grant us the limited right to transmit your receipt images to our OCR provider (OpenAI) solely to perform the extraction described above.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to: upload documents you do not have the right to process; reverse-engineer, disrupt, or overload the service; or use our products for any unlawful purpose.

6. Disclaimers

Our products are provided “as is.” Automated extraction accuracy is not guaranteed, and our tools are not a substitute for professional accounting, bookkeeping, or tax advice. You are responsible for verifying financial data before relying on it for filings or business decisions.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AthenaLab is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of our products, including errors in extracted data. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms. You may stop using our products at any time; your Google Drive/Sheets data and your Athena Dispatch tenant data remain yours.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as our products evolve. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia.
